Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galte has assessed the chances of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi catching up to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
At a press conference today, Friday, the Paris Saint-Germain coach said: “The situation is clear regarding Kylian Mbappe. We have issued a medical statement on him confirming his absence for 3 weeks.”
When asked whether he would consider involving Mbappe against the Bavarian giants, Galte laughed but added: "The safety of the player comes first, we must deal with this situation with vigilance and caution, especially since the season is still long."
He pointed out: "Messi suffers from a tendon injury. He will miss the Monaco match tomorrow but will return to training on Monday, 24 hours before the Bayern Munich match."
